Conversations and memos on the phone

Record a meeting in a room, an interview or a thought on your phone, and get the transcript back.

Plan: FreeIn beta

For someone who records on the move: a meeting in a room, an interview, a thought after a customer visit. No meeting link and no computer, only the phone.

Record with record-me, the app for iPhone, or in the Web App in the phone’s browser. You get the transcript, the speakers and a title; with Premium, also a summary, the people and topics, and actions.

What you need

  • A free account in the Web App, app.deep-thought.cloud, made with a Google or Apple account.
  • record-me, in beta on iPhone and in testing on Android, not yet in the app stores: ask us for an invitation. Without it, the Web App records in the phone’s browser.

Steps

  1. Your phone
  2. Record
  3. Upload
  4. Transcript
  1. Step 1: Create a free account

Open app.deep-thought.cloud and choose Continue with Google or Continue with Apple. If you will use record-me on an iPhone, choose Apple: record-me signs in with Apple, and the same Apple ID is the same account. The account starts on Free, with no card.

  2. Step 2: Get record-me, or use the browser

With an invitation to the record-me beta, install it on your iPhone, open it, choose Sign in with Apple and allow the microphone. Without it, open the Web App in the phone’s browser and tap +.

  3. Step 3: Record

In record-me, tap the record button, talk, and tap stop. In the browser, choose Record, allow the microphone, record, stop, and choose Upload.

  4. Step 4: Read the transcript

record-me shows the upload, then the transcript when it is ready. The same recording is in the Web App under Källor (Sources), with a title and the speakers told apart.

What happens next

  • The transcript, the speakers and a title, in record-me and in the Web App.
  • An e-mail when the transcript is ready.
  • With Premium, also a summary, the people and topics, and actions.
  • On Free, a recording’s audio is kept for 30 days; the transcript and the speakers stay.
