Private notes and a journal

Record private thoughts beside your work and keep them apart from it.

Plan: FreeLocal-only processing on request.

For someone who also records private thoughts: a journal, a reflection after a hard day. Private recordings must not mix with work material.

A recording classified as personal never gets a work tag automatically, only as a suggestion, and a tag marked private stays out of shared summaries and outgoing e-mail.

Sketch: a closed server cabinet with a small padlock in the gradient on its latch, and a sprig of pine on the floor beside it.

What you need

  • A free account in the Web App, app.deep-thought.cloud; record with record-me, Trillian or the browser.
  • To keep AI processing on our own hardware only: Premium or Enterprise, set by the account owner or an admin.
  • For the strictest case, local-only processing, on request; the meeting notetaker is then not available.

Steps

  1. Record
  2. Classified as personal
  3. Kept apart
  1. Step 1: Record as usual

Record on the phone or with Voice Memos on the Mac, as for anything else.

  2. Step 2: Give them a private tag

In the Web App, open Tags in the menu and set the tag you use for private recordings to Privat.

  3. Step 3: Keep AI processing on our own hardware

On Premium and Enterprise, the account owner or an admin can choose Our own hardware only under Inställningar, Where your recordings are processed.

  4. Step 4: Or ask for local-only processing

Ask us about local-only processing for the account. The meeting notetaker is then not available.

What happens next

  • A searchable record of your own thinking, kept apart from work.
  • Recordings under a private tag stay out of shared summaries and outgoing e-mail.
